Admission Procedure
Admission Procedure
Eligibility
The minimum requirement for admission to the programme is three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline recognized by AICTE and AIU. Candidates who expect to complete the final part of their degree by July 15 of the current year may also apply. Offersof admission to such candidates, if made, will be provisional andwill be automatically cancelled in the event of their failing to complete all the requirements for obtaining degree before July 15. A student after joining the Institute will not be permitted to sit for examination of any other Institution or agency.
Admission Test
Applicants are required to take the tests conducted by CAT / XAT/ MAT OJEE / CET / GMA / BMAT etc., for applying for the PGDMcourse. Bhavan’s Admission Test is the internal test of BCCMB for those candidates, who have not appeared for any of the above mentioned examination & have scored 50% in aggregate in Bachelor’s degree.
BCCM Application
Applicants have to apply for admission to the PGDM course by filling up the prescribed application form. On receipt of the application fee, the Information Brochure along with application form can be either procured in person at the Institutes counter or by mail. Also one can download the application form from our website http://www.bvbbhubaneswar.org. The filled in applications can either be deposited at the institutes counter or can be mailed at the following address: THE DIRECTOR, 9, Kharvel Nagar,Bhubaneswar 751001(Orissa). All the payments are to be made in favour of “Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BCCM)” payable at “Bhubaneswar” . The eligible candidates will be intimated about the status of their applications upon receipt of the requisite fees.
Selection Procedure
The Institute will decide the cut off marks of CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ JMET/ ATMA/ OJEE/ CET/ GMAT/BMAT etc. test scores, for admission to the PGDM course at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BCCM)Bhubaneswar. The cut off test score so decided will be used for short listing of candidates to be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). GD and PI will be held at the Bhavan's Kendra at Bhubaneswar or at any other place and the same shall be intimated to the Candidate. Candidates have to meet the travel expenses for appearing in the “GD & PI” on their own.
Cut off marks for selection
Relaxation of 10% in cut off marks shall be given to SC/ST/OBC/Ex - Service man/Physially Challenged candidates as per AICTE regulations
Merit cum Means Scholarship
On the following basis Scholarship shall be awarded to meritorious students subject to maximum of 20% of the students admitted.

MAT Examination By way of Scholarship
90% and above 20% i.e. Rs. 80,000/-
85% up to 90% 15% i.e. Rs. 60,000/-
80% up to 85% 10% i.e. Rs. 40,000/-
75% up to 80% 5% i.e. Rs. 20,000/-

MAT Examination By way of Scholarship

(Post Graduation or other qualification based on duration of course. Additional 2% for additional1 year of study subject to Maximum of 5%)
3. Additional weightage for Professional Qualification 05
4. Work Experience 05
(1% for every year of service subject to maximum of 5%)
5. Group discussions
Communication skills 05
Analytical skills 05
Group cohesion 05
6. Personal interview 20

Admission
Candidates who are selected for admissions to must give their acceptance of the admission offer and also pay the required fees as given in the information brochure before the stipulated date. The programme will Commence in the month of July for the first year students, during which they will be given a Manual of Policies, Non-Negotiable Academic Calendar, List of Core and Specialization Course, Instruction Methodology and Academic Evaluation and Regulations.The student seeking Admission shall bind to the Rules and Regulations of the Institute.
